Alamance Eldercare
Alamance Eldercare is a local non-profit agency that has provided support, education and services to Alamance County for 28 years. They help connect people with services and supports that enable our community elderly to stay out of a facility and remain safe in their homes. Alamance Eldercare exists to serve not only seniors, but their caregivers as well. They are funded through grant funding, some county dollars, but rely predominantly on donations from community members to sustain their services.
Gift Options:
$20 will help provide incontinence supplies to a senior for a month. Some adults really need this support as they often they have to make tough choices between providing adequate self-care and using funds for medication and food.
$50 will help provide 2 hours of respite care (a break) for an unpaid family caregiver. These respites might allow a caregiver to get to their own doctor’s appointments, take a walk, or go to the grocery store without stressing about their family member’s care and safety while they are gone.
Any donation to the Patient Assistance Program will help Alamance Eldercare to support seniors with unexpected financial needs like heating, a ramp, or unexpected medication costs.
